Sampson's New Life

Sampson, a German Shepard, knows all about being a throw away companion. His owner at Fort Bragg took him to the pound to be euthanized. The pound was not told why the owner wanted to voluntarily end his dog's life.

Most likely from neglect, Sampson had a nest of maggots on his lower back near his tail area. His ears were chewed badly by fly bites and the hair was missing on the entire tips of his ears. You can only imagine the pain and torment Sampson lived through.

Worse, he was heartworm positive and has bilateral hip dysplasia. Sampson will need a complete hip replacement to walk normally.

Sampson is beautiful, intelligent and will make a wonderful companion. He is not a throw away dog.

But we already knew that. That's why we are privileged to offer the resources to make his new life possible.
